FG Launches Second Phase of YIEDEP Registration, Offers Grants Up to ₦500,000 to Youth Entrepreneurs
The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD), has officially reopened the application portal for the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP), beginning the recruitment drive for Batch B applicants.

The reopening comes as the program continues its verification process for Batch A beneficiaries, and reinforces the government’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians as part of its economic agenda.

What is YIEDEP Program?
The YEIDEP initiative is offering eligible youth entrepreneurs a one-time grant ranging from ₦50,000 to ₦500,000 to catalyze business growth.
The primary objective of the financial support is to help unemployed youths transition into successful entrepreneurs, thereby becoming job creators, income earners, and wealth builders.
The program aims to:

Reduce youth unemployment and alleviate poverty.

Promote the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.

Provide continuous support through youth entrepreneurship training and business development resources.

YIEDEP Application Requirements
To submit your YIEDEP Application, candidates must satisfy the following requirements;

Be a Nigerian citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 years.

Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).

Have a clear business idea or an existing business operating within one of the eligible sectors.

Be willing to attend compulsory training and mentorship sessions.

Open a YEIDEP account with one of the partner banks: Lotus Bank, Keystone Bank, or Fidelity Bank.
