The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) is a social intervention program by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development to provide technical support, financial assistance, and market access.
The YEIDEP Grant is a pro-youth economic self-emancipation empowerment initiative whose aim is to facilitate and provide adequate economic engagement of youths for active economic participation, nation-building, economic development, de-radicalization, and national security.
The YEIDEP is designed to be achieved by creating and nurturing the enabling economic platforms and opportunities needed by youths to be active participants in the economy and to contribute to social and economic development, as well as political stability and national security.

Federal Government YIEDEP Portal Requirements
To be eligible for the YEIDEP Grant, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be a citizen of Nigeria
- Be a youth between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Have a valid National Identity Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Show interest or already be in any of the following businesses;
- Agriculture
- Fashion
- Technology (ICT)
- Entertainment
- Sports
- Renewable Energy
- Other productive businesses
- Have an account with Lotus/Keystone/Fidelity Bank
- Be available to attend the training and mentorship program.
NIYEEDEP Partner Banks
Once your account has been created successfully and you have received your code, you will have to proceed to register personal accounts with any of the following banks;
- Fidelity Bank
- Lotus Bank
- Keystone Bank
How To Register a Lotus/KeyStone/Fidelity Bank Account for NIYEEDEP Program
To register with the Fidelity Bank for the NIYEEDEP Program (or any other bank),
- you have to first complete your registration for the NIYEEDEP Program online.
- after you have obtained your membership code, you will proceed to the nearest Fidelity Bank branch with the code.
- this code will be used to create your personal bank account for the program.
