The TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMSS) is one of the oil company’s corporate social responsibilities for deserving Nigerian undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The TotalEnergies Merit Scholarship is awarded as an annual grant for first and second-year undergraduates as an educational intervention by the company to support Nigerian students.

TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship 2025 Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship 2025, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be a first (100L) or second-year (200L) student of a Nigerian NUC-accredited university.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student of your institution.
- Have scored at least 200 in the last UTMEÂ
- Possess a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in a 5.0 grade system.
- Students who are current beneficiaries of similar scholarships from an entity in the oil and gas industry are not eligible.
