1. PTDF Scholarship
The PTDF Scholarship is funded by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) for Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctorate students in Nigerian Federal Universities.
Scholarship Benefits
The 2024 PTDF Scholarship is worth N700,000/Yr plus a laptop computer, and is available to students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programs at accredited Nigerian universities.
2. NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship
The NNPC/Seplat Joint Venture Scholarship is jointly funded by the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission (NNPC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCO), one of Nigeria’s top oil companies.
Scholarship Benefits
Beneficiaries of the NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship are offered a stipend of N250,000 renewable every year throughout the entire duration of their undergraduate sojourn.
3. 2024 NNPC/Chevron Scholarship
Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) in collaboration with its Joint Venture (JV) partner, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), is offering a number of NNPC/Chevron Scholarship Awards to suitably qualified Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected applicants of the NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2024 will be awarded a sum of NGN200,000 per year.

4. MTN Foundation Scholarship 2024
The MTN scholarship is made up of the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS) and the MTN Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students (MTN SSBS).
Scholarship Benefits:
The MTN Scholarships will provide shortlisted applicants with a N300,000.00 grant as support towards pursuing their degrees of choice in any Nigerian institution.
5. 2024 Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship
The Stanbic IBTC Scholarship programme is aimed at encouraging hard work and academic excellence amongst Nigerian undergraduates
Scholarship Benefits:
200 Winners will each receive a share of the N80m committed to the scholarship fund.
6. KNUST Mastercard Scholarship (Kwame Nkrumah University of Technology)
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana is proud to announce the MasterCard Foundation Scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025.
Scholarship Benefits:
Full financial support covering tuition, on-campus accommodation, learning materials, laptop, transportation, and a monthly stipend.
7. European Union CSAS Scholarship 2024
The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme of the European Union has provided funding to support the training of graduate students in Central and East African universities.
Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship will cover the entirety of the costs of your tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, travel and a living allowance of €28,440 will by the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme.
8. Erasmus Mundus/EMIMEM Scholarship 2024
The Erasmus Mundus EMIMEP Scholarship opens doors to study in esteemed European countries including Germany, Italy, France, and Spain.
Scholarship Benefits:
- The recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship will receive a generous stipend of 16,800 euros per month for the entirety of the program, which spans a maximum of 24 months.
- This financial support also extends to covering travel expenses, visa costs, and living allowances, ensuring that scholars can focus wholeheartedly on their academic pursuits.
9. 2025 Schwarzman Scholarship Programme
Schwarzam scholarship offers a one-year, fully-funded master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
The scholarship is designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve as global leaders, reflect the diversity, vibrancy, and promise of the world at large.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Expenses for successful Schwarzman Scholars (Tuition and fees, Room and board, Travel to and from Beijing) are FULLY covered by the program.
- Required course books and supplies, Lenovo laptop and smartphone, Health insurance.
10. DAAD Leadership for Africa Scholarship 2024
The scholarship programme “Leadership for Africa” (LfA) aims to support the academic qualification and advancement of young refugees and national scholars from Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Mauritania at higher education institutions in Germany.
Scholarship Benefits:
- The DAAD Africa Scholarship is a fully-funded award offering successful candidates a 100% tuition waiver, an annual stipend of €11,208 as well as a monthly rent subsidy.
- The scholarship also offers a monthly allowance for accompanying family members (spouse and/or children) as well as yearly study and travel allowances.
11. David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship
The David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship grants African students the opportunity to study at Covenant and Landmark universities, in Nigeria.
Scholarship Benefits:
The full cost of study will be covered by the foundation for the entire duration of study for every selected candidate.
12. Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at Makerere University
Mastercard Foundation renewed its partnership with Makerere University for the second phase of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program spanning from 2023 to 2034.
Scholarship Benefits:
- The Mastercard Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity that covers the full costs of tuition fees for all beneficiaries.
- The scholarship also covers all expenses relating to accommodation, living stipends, laptop, meals, and return airfare ticket.
13. Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at University of Pretoria
The University of Pretoria (UP) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation has been offering scholarships for high-achieving African students who studied undergraduate and postgraduate levels since January 2014.

- The Mastercard Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity that covers the full costs of tuition fees for all beneficiaries.
- The scholarship also covers all expenses relating to accommodation, living stipends, laptop, meals, and return airfare ticket.

14. Federal Government Student Loan 2024
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has opened applications for the 2024 Federal Government Student Loan to help Nigerian students afford the cost of tertiary education.
Scholarship Benefits:
The scheme provides loans to qualified Nigerians for tuition, fees, charges, and upkeep during their studies in approved tertiary academic institutions and vocational and skills acquisition institutions in Nigeria.
15. 2024 Italian Government Scholarship
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) has made the call for applications for the 2024 Italian Government Scholarship.
Grants are offered to complete study courses and research/training programs in public or legally recognized Italian educational institutions.
Scholarship Benefits:
The Italian Government Scholarship will cover the following:
- Exemption from Payment of enrollment and tuition fees.
- Health and Medical/Accident insurance contracted by MAECI.
- A total of 9000 euros will be granted to students
