Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), in collaboration with its Joint Venture (JV) partner, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), is offering a number of NNPC Chevron Scholarship Awards to suitably qualified Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.
The NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2026 Nigeria is a major component of the company’s strategic social investment in the development of education in Nigeria.
Applicants and successful candidates are not required to make any payments whatsoever. Application for the 2026 NNPC/CNL JV National University Scholarship program is free.

Selected applicants of the NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2026 will be awarded a sum of NGN200,000 per year.

Participating Universities for NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2026
The NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2026 is open to students studying eligible courses in any Nigerian university.
NNPCL Chevron JV Scholarship 2026 Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate NNPCL Chevron JV Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be a full-time second-year (200L) student of a recognised tertiary institution in Nigeria.
(Note that these are candidates admitted in the 2024/2025 academic session. Kindly verify which academic session you fall into before completing your application. - Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
- Have a minimum of six O-level credits in one sitting.
The NNPCL/Chevron Joint Venture is also offering scholarships specifically to blind/visually impaired SECOND-YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students studying any course in Nigerian Universities.
Applicants must:
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
- Have a minimum of five O-level credits.

- Passport photograph not more than 6 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
