NDDC Local Masters Scholarship 2025 Details

Applications for the 2025 NDDC Scholarships for postgraduate studies in Nigeria are now open.

As part of her Human Resource Development initiatives, the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, is commencing the 2025 Post-Graduate Scholarship Programme, to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation.

The NDDC Local Masters Scholarship aims to foster global competitiveness by supporting academic excellence and professional development in key disciplines.

NDDC Local Masters Postgraduate Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate NDDC Local Master’s Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an indigenes of the Niger Delta Region (see the states below).
  • Be not older than forty (40) years of age.
  • Possess a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Lower Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Alternatively, possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit and a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD).

NDDC Local Masters Scholarship 2025 Benefits and Timeline

  • The NDDC Scholarship will fund the full fees of selected applicants throughout the period of study in a Nigerian or overseas tertiary institution.

  • Selected beneficiaries will also get a monthly stipend during the course of the program.

Required Documents for NDDC Scholarship 2025

You will be submitting the following while applying for the NDDC Scholarship (Local Masters);

  • Guarantor’s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant’s community/clan.
    • Member of National Assembly/State House of Assembly
    • Chairman of the LGA
    • First Class Traditional Ruler
    • High Court Judge
  • Recent passport photograph
  • Local Government Identification Letter
  • Post Graduate admission letter from a recognized Oversea University. Relevant degrees from recognized Universities.
  • NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

How To Apply for NDDC Local Masters Scholarship 2025

  • Application must be made on-line at the Commission’s website: (www.nddc.gov.ng) with the required attachments:
  • Successfully complete application form will be assigned a registration number automatically.
  • Print the hard copy of the on-line generated acknowledgement for ease of reference.
  • All shortlisted applicants will be posted on NDDC website (www.nddc.gov.ng)
