NDDC Local Masters Scholarship 2026/27 Details

Applications for the 2026/27 NDDC Scholarships for postgraduate studies in Nigeria are now open.

As part of its Human Resource Development initiatives, the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, is commencing the 2026/27 Post-Graduate Scholarship Programme to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation.

The NDDC Local Postgraduate Scholarship aims to foster global competitiveness by supporting academic excellence and professional development in key disciplines.

NDDC Local Masters Postgraduate Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate NDDC Local Masters Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be an indigene of the Niger Delta Region (see the states below).
• Be not older than forty (40) years of age.
• Possess a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Lower Bachelor’s Degree.
• Possess a valid admission letter for a Master’s degree programme from a recognized Nigerian university.
• Alternatively, possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit and a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD).
• Possess a valid NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate; and
• Satisfy all other requirements prescribed by the Commission.

• The NDDC Scholarship will fund the full fees of selected applicants throughout the period of study in a Nigerian or overseas tertiary institution.

• Selected beneficiaries will also get a monthly stipend during the course of the program.
