The entirety of the costs of your tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance during the corresponding academic period are covered by the FSB Bilateral Scholarship.

FSB Bilateral Scholarship Details
The Federal Ministry of Education, through the Federal Scholarship Board, announces the commencement of the 2025/2026 Federal Government Scholarship Awards.
This opportunity is extended for Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) programs, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
Federal Government Bilateral Scholarship 2025 Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate FSB Bilateral Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Undergraduate Scholarships:
- Minimum of Seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in relevant subjects in the Senior Secondary School Certificates (WASSCE/WAEC).
- Certificates should not be more than two (2) years old for Non-African Countries and one year for African countries.
- Age limit: 17 to 20 years.
Postgraduate Scholarships:
- First Degree with 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division.
- Completion of the N.Y.S.C. Programme.
- Age limit: 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D.
- N.Y.S.C discharge or exemption certificates are accepted.

Available Programmes for FSB BEA Scholarship 2025/26
- For undergraduates, the focus is on fields like Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Architecture, Medicine (limited), Pilot Engineering, Neurologist, and more.
- For postgraduates pursuing Masters and Ph.D., all fields are eligible.
Participating Countries and Universities
The scholarship covers a wide range of universities in the mentioned countries. Details can be found on the Federal Ministry of Education’s website.
- Undergraduate studies: Tenable in Russia, Morocco, Hungary, Egypt, and Algeria.
- Postgraduate studies: Tenable in Russia (for those with first degrees from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, Romania.

Required Documents for FSB Bilateral Scholarship
While applying for the FSB Bilateral Scholarship, you will be required to submit the following documents;
- For both categories, applicants need to provide proof of academic excellence, such as transcripts and certificates.
- Undergraduates must submit Senior Secondary School Certificates.
- Postgraduates require a First Degree certificate, N.Y.S.C. discharge or exemption certificates, and evidence of readiness for release by an employer.
- NB: Candidates nominated by the Board will be required to submit to Federal Scholarship Board the following:
i) Authenticated copies of academic certificates;
ii) Data page of the current International passport;
iii) Specified Medical Reports from Government hospitals;
iv) Birth Certificate & Indigene letter
v) Police Clearance Certificate where necessary.

Interested and eligible candidates should follow these steps:

- Click on the Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page.
- Read the guidelines and complete the online Application Form.
- Print the completed Application Form for reference.
GENERAL NOTE FOR ALL APPLICANTS:
- Since the BEA countries are non-English speaking, applicants should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one-year Foreign Language course in the Country of choice
which will be the standard medium of instruction; - All applicants for the Hungaricum Stipendium Scholarship can apply for up to two fields of study in order of preference and must visit the website: which was opened Middle of November to close on 15th January 2025.

- All applicants for the Russian Postgraduate Scholarship must have acquired their 1st
