A Platform for Free Thought and Prosperity
The African Liberty Essay Competition is an initiative of African Liberty, which was established in 2007 as a collaborative project of the Cato Institute, IMANI Africa, and later, the Atlas Network.
African Liberty serves as a platform dedicated to advancing individual freedom, peace, and prosperity across the African continent.
It achieves this by fostering civil discussions and debates on social, legal, economic, and global issues that impact Africans.
The core mission of African Liberty is to connect Africans with ideas that drive prosperity.
Through various mediums such as media advocacy, research, discussions, and debates, the organization seeks to educate a new generation of African thought leaders.
These thought leaders are encouraged to adopt viewpoints that prioritize the rights and dignity of every individual, regardless of factors like ethnicity, race, gender, or Africanness.
