YES China Scholarship Details

Aimed at fostering international understanding and friendship, the Chinese Government has established the “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China——Master Program (YES CHINA).”

This scheme is a beacon of support for talented young individuals from around the world, aiding them in pursuing Master’s degrees in China.

The YES China Scholarship (Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program) is organized in order to train global governance talents with a broad international perspective, superior comprehensive quality, outstanding leadership, and multicultural background.

YES China Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the postgraduate YES China Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, under the age of 45 (born after September 1, 1980).
A Bachelor’s degree or higher, plus at least 3 years of work experience, is required, preferably in a field related to the chosen program.
Ideal candidates are those working in government agencies, companies, or research institutions, holding significant positions such as Section Director, Chief of Office, senior manager, or distinguished in scientific research.
Proficiency in English is essential for English-taught courses. Minimum scores: IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or TOEFL Internet score 80.
Candidates should demonstrate strong career development potential and a commitment to fostering cooperation and exchanges between China and their home country.
Current students in China or previous winners of Chinese Government Scholarships are ineligible.
