By investing in their growth and providing them with the necessary tools and opportunities, we aim to create a pipeline of future leaders who will drive our company’s success.

  • Young Professionals will be treated as professional staff of EBID and receive conditions corresponding to Grade P1-1 on the Bank’s staff classification and salary scale.
  • In addition to salary, the notice specifies benefits including post-adjustment allowance, housing and transport allowance, family grant where applicable, pension scheme membership, and insurance coverage.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to EBID headquarters in Lomé, Togo for written and oral assessments covering technical skills, potential, personality and motivation, computer skills, and verbal/written communication skills in at least two of EBID’s three working languages.

To be considered for the 2027 EBID) Young Professional Program, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of an ECOWAS Member State.
  • Be under 30 years old at the time of recruitment.
  • Hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the Bank’s activities.
  • Have strong analytical, organizational and research skills.
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Be fluent in English, French or Portuguese, with working knowledge of one of the other two.

To complete your application, prepare the following documents in advance:

  • a detailed CV,
  • copies of qualifications,
  • national ID card or passport,
  • birth certificate, and
  • a motivation letter explaining the applicant’s reasons for joining the programme, areas of competence/interest, relevant experience and career prospects.
