The Transilvania Academica Scholarship is designed as a competition for international students from non-EU or non-EEA countries.

The Transilvania University of Brasov scholarship 2026 aims to attract international students to study at Transilvania University and form a group of “Ambassadors” of Transilvania University and thereby increase the international visibility of the institution.

Transilvania Academica Scholarship (TAS) 2026 Benefits

Candidates selected for the the Transilvania Academica Scholarship will enjoy the following benefits;

  • tuition fees (including registration and graduation fees);
  • free accommodation in the university’s dormitories (including holidays);
  • a monthly allowance of 800 lei (approx. 170 USD, including holidays).
  • The scholarship is awarded for the full attendance of bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree studies to candidates accepted for studies at Transilvania University.
  • The students’ full passing of each academic year is the condition for the scholarship to be granted for the following year of study.

TAS Romania 2026 Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate Transilvania Academica Scholarship (TAS Romania 2026), applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Be international students from non EU or non EEA countries.
  • The candidate must be a bachelor’s degree graduate in order to be eligible to apply for a master’s degree programme.
  • Fill in the online application form as described in the Application File section
  • Submit all the documents in English

Required Documents for Transilvania Academica Scholarship

While applying for the 2025 Transilvania Academica Scholarship, you will be required to submit the following documents;

  • Complete Application Form
  • Curriculum vitae, highlighting the candidate’s outstanding achievements;
  • Motivation letter (maximum one page);
  • Three letters of recommendation to support the candidate’s outstanding results.
  • Bachelor’s degree diploma or certificate proving the passing of the bachelor’s degree exam for graduates who do not hold yet the bachelor’s degree diploma (provisional graduation certificate).
