Ekiti State Government Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate Ekiti State Government Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
A: SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:
- Applicants must be in 2nd year and above in their courses of study to be qualified for undergraduate Scholarship Awards.
- And must possess WASSCE/NECO. with a minimum of five Credits including Engisn Language and Mathematics at a sitting, and minimum CGPA of 4.0 for University or equivalent of a Second Class (Upper Division), 3.50 for Polytechnics and 3.50 for NCE in their current institutions of study.
- Applicants for Master’s Degree and Ph.D Scholarship Award must possess a minimum of 2nd Class (Upper Division) at Undergraduate level. A grade of distinction in Master’s Degree is an additional prerequisite for Ph.D Scholarship Award.
- For Ph.D Scholarship, any candidate with a first degree certificate lesser than second class (Upper Division) and a grade of distinction in master’s degree is not eligible. A letter of recommendation from the H.O.D. is required.
- Physically Challenged Students in Tertiary Institutions (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, School of Nursing/Midwifery, College of Health Tech and Post Graduates) are qualified for the Handicapped Scholarship Award.
- Students on Part-Time and Sandwich Courses are NOT qualified for the Scholarship Awards.
B: BURSARY AWARD:
- All undergraduates, Polytechnics, College of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery, Colleges of Health Technology Students are eligible.
