Delta State Scholarship and Bursary Details
The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board (DSBSB) is a governmental agency dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of students from Delta State.
By providing financial assistance through bursaries and scholarships, DSBSB aims to promote higher education, alleviate financial burdens on students, and contribute to the development of a skilled workforce in the state.
The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board is committed to empowering students through financial assistance, promoting academic excellence, and contributing to the overall development of Delta State.
By implementing a transparent, efficient, and equitable system for awarding bursaries and scholarships, the DSBSB aims to make higher education accessible to all eligible students and foster a brighter future for the state.
It is hereby announced for the information of the general public and particularly students of Delta State Origin that the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has commenced online bursary registration of Students for the State Government’s 2023/2024 Students Special Assistant Scheme (SSAS).
Delta State Scholarship and Bursary Benefits
The scholarship award of up to N100,000 will be awarded to sucessful applicants.
The Delta State Bursary award will provide a sum of N10,000 to all selected beneficiaries.

Delta State Scholarship and Bursary Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate Delta State Scholarship and Bursary Program, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
must be of Delta State origin
- must have National Identification Number (NIN)
must be registered full-time student of ONLY Government approved private and public Tertiary Institutions (PGD, Masters and PHD Student are NOT eligible)
must have CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic year’s examination
- be in second year (200 and above) in the Universities ND II and HND in the Polytechnic’s/ Monotechnic and NCE II-III in the colleges of Education
- must have an account with a CBN approved commercial bank

You will be charged a non-refundable fee of Eight Hundred Naira Only (N800.00) for online processing using a debit card.
Online Acknowledgement card should be downloaded and printed for your personal record.
NOTE: Registration/Opening of site is for the period of four (4) weeks (Monday 1st July – Wednesday 31st July 2024). There shall be physical verification at the close of registration
