This YES China scholarship will be facilitated through seven premier Chinese universities, specifically targeting students from developing countries.

YES China Scholarship Details
Aimed at fostering international understanding and friendship, the Chinese Government has established the “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China——Master Program (YES CHINA).”
This scheme is a beacon of support for talented young individuals from around the world, aiding them in pursuing Master’s degrees in China.
YES China Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the postgraduate YES China Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, under the age of 45 (born after September 1, 1979).
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher, plus at least 3 years of work experience, is required, preferably in a field related to the chosen program.
- Ideal candidates are those working in government agencies, companies, or research institutions, holding significant positions such as Section Director, Chief of Office, senior manager, or distinguished in scientific research.
- Proficiency in English is essential for English-taught courses. Minimum scores: IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or TOEFL Internet score 80.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong career development potential and a commitment to fostering cooperation and exchanges between China and their home country.
- Current students in China or previous winners of Chinese Government Scholarships are ineligible.

Available Programmes
For the 2023/24 academic session, the YES China Scholarship will accept applications to the following programmes;
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Chinese Law
- International Program on Master of Public Health (IMPH)
- Master of International Economic Cooperation
- Master of China Studies
- LL.M. Program in International Economic Law
- MBA Program
- AIIB Master of International Finance
- Master of One-Belt-Road Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering
YES China Scholarships Benefits and Timeline
For One-year Programs: Total Amount of 200,800 RMB per Year, Covering:
- Waived fees: registration, tuition, lab experiments, internships, and basic learning materials.
- On-campus accommodation.
- Living Allowance (96,000 RMB annually).
- One-time settlement subsidy post-registration (3,000 RMB).
- Comprehensive medical insurance.
- A one-way air ticket to China for registration and a one-way ticket back home upon completion.
For Two-year Programs (1+1 Studies):
- First-year scholarship identical to one-year programs.
- In the second year, students work on their thesis in their home countries and defend it in China. The scholarship covers one round-trip ticket for the dissertation defense.
Duration of Scholarship: One or Two Years, Starting September 2024
