MTN ICT and Business Skill Training Program Details
The MTN ICT and Business Skills Training Programme empowers young Nigerian microbusiness owners aged 18 – 35 with practical, tech-driven and digital skills to help their businesses thrive in today’s fast-paced economy.
Since 2018 the initiative has run seven phases successful in collaboration with Google, Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, Cisco, Meta and Microsoft, across 29 states and the FCT. 15,362 young microbusiness owners have completed the programme.
In this Phase 8, the training will run for five weeks using a blended-learning approach that combines self-paced online modules, instructor-led sessions, masterclasses from seasoned entrepreneurs, and a capstone project challenge.
Participants will receive data support to ensure a seamless learning experience towards applying new skills to their businesses.

MTN ICT and Business Skill Training Program Benefits
- Participants will be given data for the duration of the programme to support a seamless learning experience. Not only that, the top 100 participants will be supported with an Equipment Grant worth ₦100,000,000! Yes, you read that right.
- Microsoft will train participants on Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age, ICT for Business Success and their new Generative AI skills.
- Microsoft will train participants on Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age, ICT for Business Success and their new Generative AI skills.
- Meta: will train participants on Skills to Build Brands and Grow Businesses Online through their Meta Boost for Small Business.
- The training will be delivered through a 5-week online programme which includes Masterclasses from key industry experts.
MTN ICT and Business Skill Training Program Requirements
To be considered for the MTN ICT and Business Skill Training Program, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Nigerian female, age 18–35
- Owns and manages a micro business operational for no more than 2 years
- Have a business located in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano, or Gombe state
