The Women in DeFi (WID) Laptop Scholarship is an initiative that recognizes and supports credible young women with laptops, helping them stay empowered and supported on their journey towards greatness.

Women in DeFi is committed to supporting African women building the future of Web3. As part of the WID Summit 2026, “Beyond the Bridge: African Women Leading the Future of Web3”, we are offering a limited number of Laptop Scholarships to support women who are actively learning, building, or contributing to the Web3 ecosystem but lack access to the tools needed to thrive.

This scholarship is designed to support women who may not currently have access to the tools they need to participate fully in the digital economy.
