Toyin Sanni Foundation Overview

The Toyin F. Sanni Foundation is responding to this immense need of vulnerable African women and children by working to help improve access to food, health care, education, electricity, career and employment opportunities. The Foundation was founded by Mrs. Toyin F. Sanni, Executive Vice-Chair / CEO of the Emerging Africa Group, a leading African Investment Group facilitating inward investments for African and Global investors in Africa’s unique opportunities as well as outward investments by Africans.   The mission of the foundation is to be a leader in the nonprofit sector and a valuable member of the community known for providing worthwhile, constructive and unbiased support to African women and children in need.

Toyin Sanni Foundation Essay Competition Requirements

To be eligible for the Toyin Sanni Foundation Essay Competition, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Eligibility: Must be a senior secondary school student at the time of submission.
  • Essay Length: Should not exceed 1000 words.
  • Prize Allocation: Managed by Emerging Dreams Trust, awards will be disbursed based on academic progression.
  • Originality Check: Essays will undergo scrutiny for AI/plagiarism, with plagiarized content resulting in disqualification.
  • Submission Format: Submit through a Google Form, including personal details and the essay in PDF format.
  • Language and Formatting: Essays in English, formatted in Century Gothic font size 11, double line spacing, and justified alignment.
  • Filename Format: Use FirstName-LastName-Question-Number.pdf (e.g., Sarah-Ayomide-1.pdf).
  • Deadline: Submit by March 31st; late entries will not be considered.
  • Evaluation Criteria: Judged on originality, creativity, coherence, grammar, and adherence to the prompt or theme.
  • Judging Decisions: The decisions of the organization are final.
