Toroa International Scholarships 2026 Benefits

The Toroa International Scholarships 2026 covers tuition-focused scholarship helps new international students reduce the cost of studying at Massey University during their first year.

Postgraduate Toroa Scholarships (July 2026)

  • Scholarship value: NZ$5,000 toward tuition fees
  • Duration: One year
  • Number of awards: Up to 60 scholarships available
  • Applies to: Full-time postgraduate (Master’s) students

Undergraduate Toroa Scholarships (July 2026)

  • Scholarship value: NZ$5,000 toward tuition fees
  • Duration: One year
  • Number of awards: Up to 85 scholarships available
  • Applies to: Full-time undergraduate students

Additional financial note

  • Successful recipients must pay first-year full fees or a NZ$500 contribution within two weeks of the award to secure the scholarship.

Toroa International Scholarships 2026 Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate Toroa International Scholarships 2026, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Be an international student
  • Be new to Massey University
  • Enrol full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree starting Semester 2 (July 2026)
  • Study on campus in New Zealand (onshore study required)
  • Be enrolled in the first 120 credits of their degree
  • Hold the equivalent of a New Zealand B grade or higher in their previous qualification
  • Applicants must be willing to participate and cooperate in marketing and communications activities (Scholarship Commitments) for their Faculty/Massey University. This may include testimonials and public relations opportunities, as well as being involved in and attending Open Events, Webinars or being a class representative.
  • Applicants must be international fee payers only to be eligible for this Scholarship
  • To be eligible for this fee scholarship, students must have received an admission offer of place into a full-time undergraduate degree commencing in 2026.

  • Graduate diploma and doctoral applicants are not eligible for the postgraduate Toroa scholarship
