Liberty Career Academy Scholarship 2026 Details

The Liberty Career Academy is excited to announce the launch of the LCA Scholarship program, established to support students in achieving their academic and career aspirations.

The program provides financial assistance to talented individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to their education and future professional growth. THE LCA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM HAS 3 MAJOR CATEGORIES:

1. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD

• This scholarship will reward students who have gone above and beyond in their studies, helping them continue on their path of success and realize their full potential.

2. ADEOLA OKUNGBAYE AWARD

• The scholarship is targeted at students from single-parent families (children of widows and widowers) and orphans.
• The funds provide the chance for beneficiaries to pursue their dreams without financial obstacles standing in the way.

3. GIFTED HANDS AWARD

• This scholarship is for students looking to pursue a career as artisans we are providing funds towards the cost of training or purchase of tools and equipment they’ll need for their future careers.
• whether that’s mechanical tools, sewing machines, or baking ovens. 

2026 LCA Scholarship Benefits

The LCA Scholarships are awarded by category;

• Adeola Okungbaye Award is a ₦200,000 scholarship for selected indigent students
• The Merit-based Award is a ₦150,000 scholarship award for selected candidates.
• The Gifted Hands Award will provide a sum of ₦100,000 to its awardees.

2026 Liberty Career Academy Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate Liberty Career Academy Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. All candidates will be required and must be able to provide verifiable proof of all academic/non-academic accomplishments and claims made during the screening process. Inability to do so could lead to automatic disqualification. 
2. You must meet the following General Criteria (Applicable to all Categories);

• Academic History: WASSCE + JAMB results. Once enrolled in a post-secondary institution, the most recent CGPA qualifies the candidate for the scholarship.
• Nigerian citizen/legal residents from another African country studying or living in Nigeria at the time of the application. 
• Have a valid government-issued means of identification. If you do not have one, your ID must be supported by the government-issued ID of a direct family member
• You would be required to submit a 500-word Personal Statement. AI-generated statements lead to automatic disqualification.

Eligibility Requirements (Adeola Okungbaye);

1. Demonstrated financial need  
2. Orphan or from a single-parent family 
3. Enrolled or obtained admission in an accredited post-secondary institution (University, Polytechnic, College of Education/Technical College) within Nigeria.
4. Show academic ability and achievement with a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA (or its equivalent) or 220/400 JAMB score if recently admitted to a post-secondary institution.
5. Meet all the general requirements of the LCA scholarship program.

Eligibility Requirements (Merit-based Scholarship);

1. Enrolled in or obtained admission to an accredited post-secondary institution (University, Polytechnic, College of Education/Technical College) within Nigeria.
2. Show exceptional academic ability and achievement with a minimum of 3.70/5.0 CGPA (or its equivalent) or 240/400 Jamb Score if recently admitted to a post-secondary institution
3. Extra-curricular involvement 
4. Demonstrated leadership potential
5. Meet all the general requirements of the LCA scholarship program.

Eligibility Requirements (Gifted Hands Scholarship);

1. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25 years. 
2. Received valid admission or enrolled in an accredited private/public vocational/technical institution within Nigeria
3. Must be currently unemployed. 
4. Demonstrated leadership potential
5. Meet all the general requirements of the LCA scholarship program.

• Colleges of Education
• Technical Colleges & Vocational Training 

The scholarship will accept applications from candidates enrolled in any accredited program at any recognized Nigerian tertiary institution.
