About the Mastercard Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2026 at Arizona State University

The Mastercard Foundation, in partnership with Arizona State University, is offering online scholarships for professional certificates.

The new Mastercard Foundation Scholars will pursue ASU degrees online with in-person support and wrap around services from Kepler College in Rwanda, blending flexible online learning with personalized guidance and community engagement.

These flexible, self-paced online programs empower you to build in-demand skills in global management or supply chain management, all while earning ASU credits that can be applied toward a future master’s degree. 

Participants who obtain the academic certificate will be automatically entered into the Scholarship application process for fully-funded online Master’s degrees.

A strong expectation of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is that participants use the skills and education they gain to contribute to their communities, fostering social and economic growth in their home countries.

Arizona State University Mastercard Innovation and Technology Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the Arizona State University Mastercard Innovation and Technology Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Must meet ASU admissions requirements.
  • Must be an African citizen between the ages of 18 and 33 who is committed to ethical leadership and
    community engagement.
  • Proven leadership, service, and academic excellence.
  • Undergraduate degree earned by July 2026.
  • No prior graduate degree started or completed.
  • Must reside in Rwanda for the program duration.
