Applying for the Seplat Undergraduate Scholarship is a simple process that involves a few steps.

Since 2025, Seplat Energy has adopted an application portal (register.seplatscholarship.com) for candidates to submit their entries. 

In the following pararaphs, we will explain how you can apply for the scholarship without difficulties.

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

Before you start applying, make sure you meet the Seplat Scholarship eligibility criteria. Generally, you should:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen.
  • Be a full-time student at a federal or state university in Nigeria.
  • Be in at least your second year of study or above.
  • Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 (on a 5.0 scale).
  • Have at least five O’Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in one sitting.
  • Be studying an approved course such as Engineering, Sciences, Economics, Law, Mass Communication, Medicine, or related fields.
