To help break down the barriers that prevent underrepresented groups in technology and business from attending leading conferences, we’re excited to offer Google Conference Scholarships for selected conferences in the tech industry and related fields.

Google Conference Scholarship 2025 Benefits

  • Conference registration, one round trip travel to and from the conference site,
  • Hotel accommodation for the travel dates as communicated directly with accepted scholars, a $100 USD stipend for miscellaneous travel costs and Google swag.

Google Conference Scholarship 2025 Requirements

To be eligible for the Google Conference Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Be a full-time student or industry professional enrolled with a recognized university in Africa who is in need of conference travel funds.
  • Have a paper accepted at a top-tier computer science conference. We prefer to support conferences in research areas where Google has a strong interest.
  • Be the sole or joint first author of the accepted paper.
  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of application
  • Be able to attend the conference in its entirety
