Aziz Foundation Scholarship Details
The Aziz Foundation was set up as a family foundation in 2015 by Asif Aziz to bring together his various philanthropic work, including being a Board Member of Mosaic, founded by HM King Charles III in 2007, and supporting many community projects.
The Foundation’s work began as a dynamic mix of scholarships and grants in strategic areas, including community work, arts and culture and research. In 2018, we pioneered a postgraduate scholarships programme.
Aziz Foundation Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the Aziz Foundation Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Eligible for Home fees status in the UK (not open to international students).
- Active within a Muslim community, showcasing intimate knowledge of issues affecting British Muslim communities.
- Demonstrate a long-term commitment to community/societal development within Britain.

The scholarships are exclusively available for Master’s degrees in the following subject areas:
- Media & Journalism
- Technology
- Sustainability/Environment
- Law (excluding conversion courses)
- Policy (excluding Health Policy)
- Arts & Culture
- Sports
- Grantmaking and Philanthropy
Notably, applications for science, health policy, or mathematics courses will not be considered.
