AYM Shafa Limited, in a strategic partnership with the Abdulmu’umin Educational Foundation, has officially opened applications for its annual scholarship program.

This initiative is designed to provide robust financial support to high-achieving students, ensuring they complete their university education without the burden of unpaid tuition fees.

The AYM Shafa Scholarship is one of the company’s corporate social responsibilities. Other programs include scholarships to students, books and educational facilities donated to schools, renovation and construction of health care centres, primary and secondary schools in various communities.

The ABDULMU’UMIN
EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP is open to students in;

  • Agriculture,
  • Engineering,
  • Education,
  • Sciences, and
  • Medical-related fields.

AYM Shafa Foundation Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate AYM Shafa Foundation Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Is an indigene of Bauchi state;
  • Is from low-income family;
  • Is less than 25 years of age as at time of submission of application;
  • Receives an offer of admission and completes registration;
  • Undergoes fulltime undergraduate degree in Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi state;
  • Is from either of the following faculties: Agriculture, Basic Medical/College of Medical Sciences, Computing, Education, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Sciences.

Continued sponsorship is contingent upon academic excellence. Recipients are required to:

  • Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale.
  • Submit academic results regularly for verification.
