Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship Details
The administrators of the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation joyfully announce the commencement of the 2023/2024 scholarship programme for Muslim students in Nigerian federal universities. The scholarship categories include:
- Undergraduate scholarship for students in qualifying federal universities.
- Undergraduate scholarship for orphans and vulnerable students at the University of Maiduguri.
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate scholarship for students of Ede origin.
The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation scholarship, initiated by Alhaji (Engr.) Abdulkabir Aliu, the visionary CEO of Matrix Energy Group, has evolved since its modest beginning in 2014.
What started with 70 brilliant students in six federal universities has expanded its reach, now welcoming applications from students in 13 federal universities across Nigeria.
At its core, the foundation is committed to shaping the future of Muslim students by blending knowledge with values.
The foundation’s mission revolves around the belief that knowledge, in life, must be guided by values. By prioritizing character formation and fostering a robust academic program, the foundation aims to instill in each Muslim student the capacity for disciplined learning and consideration of others.
The leadership team and Board of Trustees, serving as role models, stand as pillars of strength for the foundation.
Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Undergraduate Scholarship
- Must be a bona fide student in any of the listed universities.
- Maintain a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class Upper Division).
- Must exhibit good character.
Undergraduate Scholarship for Orphans and Vulnerable Students
- Must be a bona fide student of the University of Maiduguri.
- Maintain a minimum of 2.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class Lower Division).
- Must exhibit good character.
