The selected candidate will;

  • Analyze large-scale genomic and methylome sequencing data
  • Conduct GWAS and EWAS to identify candidate genes and epigenetic patterns
  • Use hyperspectral imaging to quantify seed coat changes over time
  • Develop and validate molecular markers for breeding applications
  • Design and manage greenhouse experiments
  • Prepare research publications and present findings at conferences

To be eligible for the University of Guelph Scholarship Canada, applicants must have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, data science, agricultural science, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
