Goldsmiths University of London Sanctuary Scholarship 2026 Details

Goldsmiths  University of London Scholarships for International Students is an International Response Scholarship (Goldsmiths) at the University of London.

They aim at supporting international students to enrol for an undergraduate or postgraduate study in London. Innovative academic partnership with higher education providers worldwide is one of its goals. Up to 4 (two for undergraduate students; two for postgraduate taught students) is available for this year.

Distinguished international students with outstanding academic performance can apply for the Goldsmiths University Scholarship UK 2026.

Selection Process

Initial shortlisting by eligibility criteria will be completed by the Scholarships Co-ordinator. All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are then forwarded to the next selection stage. 

Applications will then be considered by an awarding panel. All panel members understand that applicants will have a broad range of differing skills, attributes and experiences, so they will give equal consideration to both the applicant’s academic record and their answers to the questions posed in the award application form.

Panel members also understand that what is important is the content of the answers and their relevance to the questions, not the standard of writing.

The panel will consist of representatives from Admissions, Widening Participation, and the Immigration Advisory Service. The panel will assess the applications against the stated criteria.

Final award recipients and reserve candidates will be decided by the panel.

Goldsmiths University of London Sanctuary Scholarship 2026 Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate Goldsmiths University of London Sanctuary Scholarship 2026, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • applicants must have been offered a place to study on a Goldsmiths programme and firmly accepted via UCAS or MyGoldsmiths. Applicants for online degree programmes run via the University of London are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must submit their financial award application by the deadline stated on the financial awards web page. There is no guarantee that any applications can be accepted after the deadline.
  • Students who are currently enrolled on a Goldsmiths programme are not eligible to apply for a financial award unless they are applying for a subsequent separate programme.
  • Have refugee status in the UK, or have an active application for asylum in the UK (you will be required to provide documentation to demonstrate your status). Supporting documents should be uploaded to your MyGoldsmiths account.
  • Be holding an offer of study on an undergraduate or taught postgraduate degree at Goldsmiths.
