NNPC/TotalEnergies Fellowship Benefits
Selected fellows will spend a semester at MIT during either Spring 2024 (February-May 2024) or Fall 2024 (September-December 2024). The program covers basic travel, living, and instructional material expenses. During their time at MIT, fellows will:
- Attend classes similar to those they teach, gaining insights into innovative teaching methodologies.
- Develop new curricular materials and teaching approaches for adoption in their home universities.
- Participate in MIT-ETT seminars focusing on curriculum design and MIT cultural aspects.

To qualify for the NNPC/TotalEnergies ETT Fellowship, applicants must:
- Be passionate about developing new curricula and teaching methods, demonstrating a commitment to driving change.
- Hold a Ph.D. and serve as a faculty member in a Nigerian university, specializing in disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering, or Geophysics.
- Possess a Lecturer One rank within their respective institutions.
