To qualify for the Kazakhstan Government Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a foreign country other than Kazakhstan
- Hold a high school, a bachelor’s, or a Master’s degree certificate as appropriate.
- Have acquired strong academic records as required for bachelor’s and master’s programs
- Be proficient in English, German, or French, with exemptions for native speakers.
- Must not be more than 30 years old at the time of application.
- Be pursuing the education level being applied for, for the first time (i.e not a second degree).
