Government of Kazakhstan Scholarship Requirements
To qualify for the Kazakhstan Government Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Open to applicants from any country
- Residence: Non-domiciled individuals residing in Kazakhstan may also apply
- Education: Applicants must hold a school certificate and university degree
- Academic Performance: Strong academic records are required for bachelor’s and master’s programs
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, German, or French is mandatory, with exemptions for native speakers
- Age Limit: Applicants must be under 30 years of age at the time of application
Required Documents

- A copy of ID;
- A copy of the previous level of education document
- Academic transcript;
- Write a motivational essay in Kazakh or Russian or English.

- A medical certificate for studying abroad, and also a medical certificate about the absence of (HIV infection) and AIDS diseases issued by a prestigious/official health authority/institution of your country of residence;
