WomenLift Health Nigeria Signature Leadership Journey 2027 Details
The 2027 Nigeria Leadership Journey is a fully funded year-long programme delivered in partnership with WomenLift Health and the Women in Leadership Advancement Network (WILAN).
It is designed to strengthen leadership capacity, presence, and influence among mid-career women in public and global health in Nigeria. Participants engage in a mix of virtual and in-person learning, receive mentorship and coaching, and lead a practical Health Leadership Project.
Through an immersive experience, the Journey fosters personal growth, network building, and strategic leadership skills to address complex public health challenges. Graduates become lifelong “Global Fellows” connected to a network of peers and leaders.

Selected participants will receive access to comprehensive benefits including:

WomenLift Health Nigeria Signature Leadership Journey Requirements
To be considered for the 2027 WomenLift Health Nigeria Signature Leadership Journey, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Identify as a woman
- Demonstrate fluency and confidence in both written and verbal English communication. This includes the ability to articulate emotions, participate in reflective dialogue, engage in complex interpersonal conversations, and integrate leadership development concepts throughout the Journey.
- Ensure you have access to a computer and the Internet in order to attend the virtual touchpoints.
- Are a citizen who resides and works within Nigeria
- Live in WAT (+/-1 hour) time zones for at least 75% of the program as we believe time zone compatibility is essential to your ability to participate at the touchpoints and to engage with your peers within and outside of the sessions.
- Are a mid-career leader with 10–25 years of work experience in health++. WomenLift Health defines Health++ as the recognition that sustainable improvements in health require coordinated action across interconnected fields that shape and enable health such as climate change, food systems, agriculture, water and sanitation, education, economic policy, gender equity, and technology.
