Requirements for Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest
To be eligible for theWergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- One Poem Only: Quality over quantity. Submit your best humorous creation.
- Length Limit: Keep it concise with a maximum of 250 lines.
- Language Barrier: The humor should be in English, but inspired gibberish is also welcomed.
- AI in the Mix: While poems created using AI are generally ineligible, exceptions may apply. If your AI-assisted work brings the laughs, seek pre-approval at info@winningwriters.com.
- Authors worldwide are welcome, except from Syria, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Russia, and Belarus, due to US government restrictions. The humor, however, should know no borders.
Selection Judges
Guiding the laughter is Jendi Reiter, with assistance from the humorous Lauren Singer. Together, they seek the quirkiest, most entertaining poems that tickle the readers’ funny bones.
Application Procedure
Submit your humor poem online between August 15, 2023, and April 1, 2024.
