The University of Milan Regional Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship financed by the Lombardy Region and the Ministry of University and Research to assist students who demonstrate both financial need and academic merit.
The scholarship is available to students enrolling in eligible undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and postgraduate school programmes at the University of Milan for the 2026/27 academic session.
Depending on the student’s financial status, academic performance, and residency category, beneficiaries may receive financial grants, accommodation support, free or subsidised meals, tuition fee assistance, and additional mobility funding
University of Milan DSU Scholarship 2027 Benefits
The University of Milan DSU Scholarship offers the following benefits;
- Tuition Waiver: Complete exemption from university tuition and regional fees.
- Stipend: A monthly allowance of up to €600 (or roughly €7,073 annually) paid over 10 months.
- Accommodation: Free or highly subsidized university housing, or a cash housing allowance if university dorms are full.
- Meals: Free access to university cafeterias.
- Travel Support: Reimbursements up to €100 for European students and up to €500 for non-EU students
Eligible Programmes for University of Milan Scholarship
Italian students as well as international students can apply to the following degree programs:
- Bachelor’s degree (3 years: first level degree)
- Single-cycle Master’s degree (5 or 6 years: combined first and second level degree)
- Master’s degree (2 years: second level degree)
- Postgraduate school (except medical students with a specialist training contract)
- Doctoral research program (unless they have already received a scholarship or research fellowship).
