Chevening Scholarship 2027 Details

The University of Kent welcomes applications from all Chevening-eligible countries for any one-year taught master’s degree based at our UK campuses.

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FDCO) and partner organisations.

The programme offers awards for outstanding scholars from around the world who wish to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK.

Chevening Scholarship Requirements

To be considered for the 2027 University of Kent Chevening Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country
• Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your scholarship has ended
• Have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a one year postgraduate programme at Kent. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree, but varies depending on the course. Please visit our course pages for our entry requirements. • Have had at least two years’ work experience acquired after completing your undergraduate degree
• Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by 08 July 2027.
