The University of Alberta Masters Scholarship seeks to welcome a new graduate student to the Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering program at the University of Alberta.
The selected student will join a collaborative research group from the Department of Civil Engineering who are focused on studying river ice processes.
The Water Resources Engineering group at the U of A is a very knowledgeable, supportive, and collaborative group. Students learn from experts in a variety of fields (e.g., river ice, fluid mechanics, water management) and have the opportunity to present their own research at local, national, and international conferences.

To be eligible for theUniversity of Alberta Masters Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering, or in a related field.
- Possess aย minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4 on the most recent two-years of full-time study.
- Have the ability to demonstrate English language proficiency through previous training or an English language exam as this is the language of instruction at the U of A
