The Swedish Institute Masters Scholarship is designed to attract talented individuals from 44 countries, covering the entirety of the costs of your tuition, and providing $14,530 and $1,513 as stipend and travel grants, respectively, during the corresponding academic period will be covered by the scholarship.

SI Scholarship for Global Professionals 2027 Benefits

The SI Scholarship for Global Professionals is a competitive, fully funded scholarship that includes:

Find Scholarships

Full tuition fee coverage. The fee is paid directly by SI to your Swedish university each semester.
A monthly allowance of SEK 12,000 to cover your living expenses throughout the study period.
A travel grant of SEK 15,000 (*10,000 for scholars from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine). This is a one-time payment and does not apply to students already living in Sweden.
Membership in the SI Network for Future Global Professionals (NFGP) – a platform to help you grow professionally and build a network while in Sweden.
After your scholarship period has ended, you become a member of the SI Alumni Network. As a member, you get a unique opportunity for continued networking and professional development.

Swedish Institute Scholarship 2027 Requirements

To be considered for the 2027 award, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

Be a citizen and resident of one of our programme countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Vietnam, Zambia.* Ukrainian applicants who reside outside of Ukraine are eligible to apply.
Have a leadership position, such as CEO or senior executive, in a medium to large company with a mandate to spearhead strategic changes throughout their business.
Be at least 30 years old (born 1996 at the latest).
Have a good working knowledge of both written and spoken English.
Have a completed post-secondary education (the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree or greater).
Be willing to actively participate, provide support, and share their experience and knowledge with other participants.
Have identified business needs or problems that could be worked on during the programme to help their company improve its contribution to a more sustainable world.
