The Sanni Bello Foundation Scholarship is a fully-funded opportunity that will cover the costs of tuition fees for all selected awardees.
The Sanni Bello Foundation Scholarship is also renewable; recipients will also be able to benefit from the scholarship every year till they graduate from the university.
The scholarship is applicable to undergraduate students in universities, polytechnics, colleges of health, education, and technology.

About Sanni Bello Foundation Scholarship
Sani Bello Foundation Scholarship Programme is one of the many programmes instituted by Sani Bello Foundation to help tertiary institution students in Nigeris who finds it difficult to pay their school fees.
Sani Bello foundation is a non profit organization. It was established to impact our society positively with resource and skill acquisition to improve the general well being of Nigerians and also to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDG).
The SDGs in focus are No poverty (SDG 1), good health and well being (SDG 2), and quality education(SDG 4) .

Sanni Bello Scholarship Requirements
- Eligibility for New Applicants:
New applicants are warmly welcomed to apply during their second year of study. To be eligible for consideration, all applicants, whether renewing or new, must meet the following criteria:
1. Enrollment Status: i. The applicant MUST be a registered full-time student in a recognized tertiary institution within Nigeria. ii. Part-time students are not eligible to apply.
2. Institutional Background: i. Applicants from private institutions or foreign countries are not eligible for the scholarship.
3. Academic Standing: i. The applicant must be in their second year of study at the time of application. ii. A minimum qualification of FIVE (5) credits in either WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including Mathematics and English Language, is required, achieved in not more than two sittings. iii. Applicants must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0.
4. Employment Status: i. The applicant MUST be a full-time student; part-time applicants are not eligible. ii. Civil servants are not eligible to apply.
- Renewal for Continuing Awardees:
The scholarship opportunity extends each year until graduation for current awardees, ensuring continuous support for their academic journey. However, the renewal is contingent upon maintaining a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) as outlined below.
Required Documents
While applying for the 2026 Sanni Bello Foundation Scholarship, you will be required to submit the following documents;
Applicants must provide original copies of the following documents:
- birth certificate or Declaration of Age,
- Local Government Indigene Letter,
- O-level result,
- secondary school testimonial,
- Transcript or Result Statement (duly signed and stamped) indicating previous session CGPA results clearly.

- School Identity printout, or a valid means of school identification
- Photocopies of departmental course registration forms
