OSOPADEC Scholarship 2024 Details
The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), hereby invites interested and qualified indigenous tertiary institutions Students to participate in the 2023/2024 academic session of the Commission’s scholarship/bursary scheme.
As of August this year, the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) disclosed that it had commenced the payment of outstanding N373 million bursary and scholarship arrears for undergraduate and postgraduate students from the state.
The move would ease the financial burdens of undergraduate and postgraduate students from oil-producing areas in the state.

- PGD, MSc., _ N100,000
- PhD – N150,000

Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- be an indigene of either Ilaje and/or Ese-Odo Local Government Areas;
- be full-time students of recognized public/private institutions within the country as at 2023/2024 academic session;
- both undergraduates and postgraduates as well as Law School Students are eligible to apply in so much as their studentship is acknowledged by their school/university authorities; and
- all part-time/samdwich/pre-degree/NTI/diploma students and institutions not accredited by relevant authorities are not qualified for this award.
Required Documents
While applying for the 2024 Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission Scholarship, you will be required to submit the following documents;
- One recent passport photograph
- Certificate of Local Government of Origin
- JAMB Admission Letter
- School fees receipts for 2023/2024 Academic Session
- Current valid Student Identity Card (I.D)
How To Apply for OSOPADEC Scholarship
To apply for the OSOPADEC Scholarship, follow the instructions we have outlined below;
- Read the information we have provided on this webpage and ensure your eligibility
applicants registration slip must be printed out, signed and stamped by the Dean of Student Affairs/HOD of institutions (as applicable); and,
signed slip MUST be uploaded to complete the registration.
the registration portal will be open for applicants on OSOPADEC website at https://osopadecbursaryform.org or https://osopadec.gov.ng from 11th November, 2024 to 24th December, 2024.
