NNPC Graduate Trainee Program Details
The NNPC Graduate Trainee Program seeks to recruit young Nigerian graduates to give hands-on experience of the petroleum industry as well as other benefits that include competitive salary, and employment opportunities.
NNPC Graduate Trainee Program Benefits
Shanghai Government Scholarships for Foreign Students are divided into two categories: A and B.
- Type A scholarship (full scholarship): covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance during the corresponding academic period, and is applicable to undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and undergraduate preparatory studies.
- Type B scholarship (partial scholarship): covers tuition fees and comprehensive medical insurance during the corresponding academic period, and is applicable to undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies.
For students who receive scholarships, the school will guide them through relevant procedures such as visa, enrollment and registration.
In principle, scholarship students will be arranged by the school to live in student dormitories in the first year.

NNPC Graduate Trainee Program Requirements
To be eligible for the NNPC Graduate Trainee Program, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- have any of the following minimum qualifications in the under-listed disciplines:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the First Class/Second Class Upper Division
- HND (Distinction)
- Bachelors Degree in the Second Class Lower Division with a completed Masters Degree
- HND Upper Credit with a completed Master’s Degree.
- have graduated from an accredited university/polytechnic/mono-technic not earlier than 2019.
- have completed NYSC.
- not be more than 28 years of age as of 31st December 2024.
- Possess good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
