NNPC/Chevron Scholarship Details
Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) in collaboration with its Joint Venture (JV) partner, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), is offering a number of NNPC/Chevron Scholarship Awards to suitably qualified Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.
The Chevron Scholarship program is a major component of the company’s strategic social investment in the development of education in Nigeria.
Applicants and successful candidates are not required to make any payments whatsoever. Application for 2024 NNPC/CNL JV National University Scholarship program is free.

Selected applicants of the NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2024 will be awarded a sum of NGN200,000 per year.

Participating Universities for NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2024
The NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2024 is open to students studying eligible courses in any Nigerian university.
NNPC/Chevron Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate NNPC/Chevron Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
- Have a minimum of six O-level credits in one sitting.
The NNPCL/Chevron Joint Venture is also offering scholarships specifically to blind/visually impaired SECOND-YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students studying any course in Nigerian Universities.
Applicants must:
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
- Have a minimum of five O-level credits.

While applying for the 2024 NNPC Chevron Scholarship 2024, you will be required to submit the following documents;
- Complete Application Form
- Passport photograph not more than 6 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
- School ID card
- Admission Letter
- Birth Certificate
- O’ Level Result
- JAMB Result
- Local Government Area Letter of Identification
How To Apply for NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2024
To apply for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship, follow the instructions we have outlined below;

- Ensure you have met the requirements and gathered the required documents
- Click on “Apply Now” tab and proceed to “Register Now” to create and activate an account.
- Return to the Scholarship site and log in with your registered email and password to upload your information.
- Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, other information and upload the required scanned documents.
- Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in the same order. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise.
- Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to eliminate errors during uploading.
- When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background.
- Recheck application information to avoid errors
- Return to “Active Scholarships” and Click on the scheme you wish to apply and Click “Apply Now” to submit information
- You will receive a notification displayed on the screen and via email that you have successfully applied. To confirm Check “My application” under “My account” section on your profile account.
