The Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship offers a fully funded award that is renewable until the end of the study period to students pursuing science and technology-related programs.

Nestlé Nigeria is proud to reaffirm its commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders by opening entries for its annual scholarship program.

Aimed at high-achieving senior secondary and tertiary students pursuing studies in Science and Technology, this scholarship empowers and supports students in communities surrounding Nestlé operations. 

Nestle is the largest food and beverage manufacturing company in the world, with a presence in more than 160 countries, one of which is Nigeria. 

The company has, over the years, offered internships and training programmes to young Nigerians.

It has also frequently put out its graduate trainee recruitment to help young graduates improve their employability and professional skills, as well as give them the opportunity to gain industrial work experience.

The Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship will cover the full costs of the following for its beneficiaries;

  • Books and study materials
  • Tuition
  • Accommodation
  • Living expenses

To be considered for the 2026 Nestle Nigeria Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

University Scholarship

  • Be in 100-level students only of accredited Universities and Polytechnics studying Science and Technical Courses
  • Have obtained 5 credits in WASSCE OR NECO SSCE at one sitting in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology + at least 200 in UTME/JAMB.

Senior Secondary Category

  • Awards only for SS1 students in Science and Technical classes
  • SS1 Science students who obtained a minimum of five credit passes in their BECE.
  • The scholarship is open to only indigenes of Obafemi Owode, Sagamu, and Agbara in Ogun State, and Manderigi and Abaji in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Tertiary Institution Students: All science and technology programmes offered by Nigerian accredited universities. Examples of such courses include;

  • Engineering: Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/ Metallurgical/ Process Engineering: Petroleum / Gas / Chemical Eng and others.
  • Physical and Natural Sciences: Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Zoology, Computer Science, Geology, Geography
  • Agriculture and related courses
  • Medical & Clinical Sciences: Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Anatomy, Biochemistry, and other related courses.

High School Candidates: must be SS1 students in Science and Technology classes.

You will not be required to upload any document during the Nestle Nigeria Scholarship application process. However, they may be required during the screening or interview process for physical verification.
