ITF/NECA Technical Skills Development Program Details

The ITF/NECA Technical Skills Development Program is an intensive 9-month training programme on Technical Skills Development in the fields of Mechanical/Automation Maintenance & Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Logistics & Distribution.

The ITF Technical Skills Development Program (TSDP) is organised by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), and the Nigerian Breweries.

The primary objective of the ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Project and training programmes is the acquisition of relevant knowledge, practical skills and attitudes for employment and entrepreneurship in a particular trade or occupational area.

ITF/NECA Technical Skills Development Program Benefits

  • Successful candidates will enjoy free tuition and lunch.
  • The programme is non-residential, with training at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries Plc located in Ibadan and attachment in any of our Brewery Locations in Lagos, Aba, Ibadan, Enugu, Ota, Ijebu Ode and Kaduna.
  • Trainees will not be entitled to a salary during the period of training. They will only be entitled to a monthly stipend.

The ITF/NECA Technical Skills Development Programme seeks;

  • To train and equip youths with employable technical & science skills
  • To promote a Public–Private Sector Model in Vocational / Technical Skills Training and contribute to the capacity development of our country

The ITF Technical Skills Development Programme offers training in the fields of;

  • Mechatronics – Packaging Operations
  • Mechatronics – Brewing and Utilities Operations
  • Mechatronics – Corrective Maintenance
  • Operational Quality
  • Logistics Operations

ITF/NECA Technical Skills Development Program Requirements

To be eligible for the ITF/NECA Technical Skills Development Program, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Higher National Diploma of the following (For Mechatronics – Packaging, Brewing & Utilities Operations and Corrective Maintenance):
    • Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Physics, Instrument Engineering or Computer Engineering, with a minimum of Lower credit from recognised and accredited institutions.
  • National Diploma in any of the following (For Quality and Logistics Operations): Chemical Engineering, Biological and Physical Sciences, Food Science Tech, Laboratory Science, Applied Physics with a minimum of Lower credit from recognised and accredited institutions.
  • Graduated not earlier than 2022. • Must have completed NYSC as of the time of this advertisement.
