The fund as stated by the Ogun State Givernment will be disbursed to all 27,600 students who are Ogun State indigens and are pursuing undergraduate or diploma studies in Nigeria.
Students across all universities, polytechnics, and colleges are hereby advised to apply for this opportunity and be beneficiaries.
The State Government also announced that a sum of N10,000 will be disbursed to secondary school students who are studying in public schools within the state.

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has announced several measures to cushion the effect of the current economic crisis in the country for students within and outside the state.
The Government, in a letter written to all universities, polytechnics, and colleges, asked the institutions to help collate the data of Ogun State indigens studying in their institutions.
We have the letter below;
All Ogun State indigens studying in any recognized Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education are eligible to apply.
As a beneficiary of the Ogun State EduCash Grant, you will get a N50,000 cash award to support your expenses.
The following details have been requested by the Ogun State Government from all applicants;
Visit your student portal to fill the appropriate forms required or visit the Students’ Affairs Division of your institution to find out more about the procedure.
