MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship Details

This initiative targets Senior Secondary School (SSS) students and undergraduates pursuing their education in government-owned or accredited private institutions in Nigeria.
MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship Requirements
For Secondary School Applicants:
The MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship is available for students who;
- have successfully completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) with a minimum of five (5) distinctions, equivalent to grade A, in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, achieved in one sitting.
Other eligibility criteria include:
- Applicants must have JSCE results available during the application period.
- Applicants should not be more than 18 years old at the time of application.
- The applicant must be a Nigerian citizen.
- The applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee or individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc during the application period.
- The applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship.
For Undergraduate Applicants:
Undergraduates seeking this scholarship must have completed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (NECO or GCE). The applicant must have a minimum of five (5) distinctions, equivalent to grade A, in the relevant subjects for their chosen course of study at the higher institution, including Mathematics and English Language, achieved in one sitting. Additional eligibility criteria include:
- The applicant must have been offered admission into an approved tertiary institution (University/Polytechnic/Monotechnic) in Nigeria.
- Applicants should not be more than 25 years old at the time of applying.
- The applicant must be a Nigerian citizen.
- The applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.
- The applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship.
Available Programmes
For the 2024/25 academic session, the MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship will accept applications to all accredited programmes of Nigerian tertiary institutions.
MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship Benefits and Timeline
The MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship will cover the full costs of your tuition, accommodation, and living expenses.

- Junior Secondary JSCE result for the Secondary School category and SSCE result for the
Tertiary School category in one sitting - Admission letter
- Birth certificate/affidavit (Birth affidavit date must not be earlier than 60 days before
September 5, 2023) - School fees document signed by the school
- Parent National ID card
Application Procedure

For Employees’ Children:
- Follow the designated application guidelines.
- Complete the Scholarship Application Form for Staff.
