The Michael Taiwo Scholarship aims to mentor applicants to pursue university education abroad with financial aid to enroll for proficiency standard test scores required to study in the USA, UK, and many other European and Australian countries.

Michael Taiwo Scholarship Details

The Michael Taiwo Scholarships through the Graduate School Application Scholarships program, will provide mentoring for motivated and bright students from poor societies to pursue world-class graduate education.

The 2025 Scholarship new application window will open on June 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM GMT and close on June 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM GMT.

All candidates are encouraged to apply, regardless of their GPA, because the MT Foundation considers each application from a holistic view. 

Michael Taiwo Scholarship 2025 Benefits

Selected beneficiaries of the Michael Taiwo Scholarship 2025 will receive;

  • Financial assistance and mentorship to pursue world-class graduate education in the USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
  • Payment of registration fees for
    •  GRE/GMAT,
    • TOEFL and
    • 6 Application fees
    • 4 Additional score report

Michael Taiwo Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the Michael Taiwo Scholarship, applicants should note the following:

  • The scholarship award is open to ALL recent graduates from a university, regardless of their course of study. Also, final year students are eligible to apply.
  • Ideal candidates have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 in a 5-point system (or equivalent CGPA if not based on a 5-point scale)
  • Final year students, with the required CGPA above as at end of the penultimate year are also welcome to apply.
  • That said, an application is considered holistically and hence, all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
