Lapidoth Foundation 2027 WAEC Scholarship Details
The Lapidoth Foundation WAEC Scholarship refers to examination-fee assistance provided through the Foundation’s broader Project Lapidoth initiative.
Rather than functioning like a conventional university scholarship that pays tuition for several years, Project Lapidoth focuses specifically on helping students overcome financial barriers connected to examinations.
The Foundation states that the programme is intended to:
- Facilitate access to education.
- Empower students to pursue their academic goals.
- Reduce the impact of financial constraints.
- Encourage academic excellence.
- Improve students’ future educational opportunities.
According to the Foundation’s programme description, Project Lapidoth aims to sponsor examination fees for 10 deserving students.
This makes the opportunity particularly relevant to students who are academically motivated but whose families may have difficulty paying examination-related expenses.

Lapidoth Foundation 2027 WAEC Scholarship Benefits
The primary benefit associated with Project Lapidoth is sponsorship of examination fees.
For eligible students preparing for WAEC or another qualifying examination under the programme, this can help remove one of the immediate financial obstacles to completing secondary education.
Key benefits include:
- Examination fee sponsorship
- Reduced financial pressure on students and families
- Greater opportunity to sit required examinations
- Support for students with academic potential
- Access to an education-focused foundation committed to reducing financial barriers
The Foundation also provides educational resources and mentorship as part of its wider activities. Its website says these resources can include textbooks, learning materials, online resources and educational technology, while its mentorship programme connects students with experienced professionals.
