The Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment and HIG Africa Learn2Earn programme is more than training. It’s a direct pathway to globally recognised certifications, in-demand skills, and meaningful employment.

The Program is a deep-tech skills development programme designed to equip you with practical technology skills, professional capabilities, and the confidence to pursue opportunities in the digital economy.

In 12 weeks, you’ll move from foundational knowledge to practical capability — real projects, real problems, real outcomes.

Learn2Earn Lagos Solution Benefits

Selected applicants will receive a comprehensive financial support and professional support that includes:

• Industry-Aligned Training: Learn in-demand digital skills designed with employers and earn globally recognised certifications.
• Job-Focused: Training linked directly to local and international jobs.
• 100% Sponsored: Free training, laptops, daily transportation (to & from training), daily meals, and monthly stipends provided.

Lagos State Government Learn2Earn Program Requirements

To be considered for the 2027 Lagos State Government Learn2Earn Program, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

• Lagos residents who possess a valid LASSRA ID
• Age range: 18–35 years; Women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Interested in technology & digital-economy careers
• Education level: Minimum HND/B.Sc. or equivalent; a degree in a STEM discipline is an added advantage.
• Willing to commit to structured learning
• Time commitment: Physical training from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, throughout the programme.
• No prior tech background required
• Applicants must have basic computer skills (e.g. using a keyboard, mouse, email, and the internet).

Available Techonolgy Pathways for Learn2Earn Lagos Solution

The 2026 Learn2Earn Lagos Solution offers training in the folowing pathways:

• SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Build real products — web, mobile, frontend & backend.
  • Key courses: C#, Front End, Azure, React/Angular, Agile, Flutter
• DATA ANALYTICS & AI: Turn data into decisions using analytics & applied AI.
  • Key courses: Data Analysis & BI Tools, Power BI, SQL/Python, ML Modelling
• CYBERSECURITY: Protect digital systems & master information security management.
  • Key courses: CISM, SC-900, Responsible Computing

The step-by-step guide to apply for the Learn2Earn Programme is as follows;

• Visit the official scholarship portal (Click the link below).
• Complete the Form. Fill in academic, personal, and institutional details accurately.
• Upload Required Documents: Attach all documents listed in the section above in the specified format.
• Please upload your documents to Google Drive and provide the shareable link in the application form.
• As part of the selection process, you are required to create and post a 1-minute video on Instagram answering the question: “Why should you be selected for this year's Learn2Earn Programme?
• Post the video on your Instagram account.
• Follow @higafrica_official and @lagoswealthcreation on Instagram. 
• Include the official campaign hashtag #2026Learn2EarnLagos in your caption. 
• Tag @higafrica_official in your video post. 
• Where the Instagram collaboration feature is available, invite @higafrica_official to collaborate on the post. 
• Ensure that your Instagram account is public and the video is accessible to the Learn2Earn selection team for verification. 
• Copy the link to your Instagram video post and submit it in the application form. Please DO NOT submit a Google Drive link for your video. The video must be posted on Instagram, and the Instagram post link must be submitted with your application.
• Submit your application by the deadline.
