The Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS), in partnership with Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, offers scholarships to exceptional young Africans (excluding Nigerians) who aspire to become transformational leaders.

The LBS MINDS Scholarship is a unique opportunity that allows scholars to pursue a world-class MBA at Lagos Business School (LBS ), Lagos, Nigeria, gaining not only advanced business knowledge but also exposure to diverse cultures and networks across the continent.

This combines MINDS’ mission of nurturing Pan-African leaders with Lagos Business School’s reputation as one of Africa’s leading business schools.

The scholarship provides significant financial support to help scholars focus fully on their studies and leadership journey.

The Lagos Business School MINDS Scholarship can either be full or partial. Depending on whether a full or partial scholarship is awarded, benefits may include;

  • tuition coverage,
  • accommodation and meals,
  • a fixed stipend of $3000 for living expenses,
  • visa assistance, and
  • one return flight ticket for the duration of the programme.

In addition, MINDS provides settling-in support to make the transition to studying in Nigeria smooth and rewarding.

To be considered for the 2026 Lagos Business School Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of an African country.
  • Aspire to become a transformational leader.
  • Apply for one of the LBS available MBA programs.

NB: Nigerian citizens are not eligible for the MINDS scholarship at Lagos Business School.

The LBS MINDS Scholarship is open to students pursuing the following courses;

  • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate – Minimum of Second Class Lower (or equivalent).
  • Official Academic Transcript – Sent directly by the awarding institution.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency – TOEFL, IELTS, etc. (only if prior education was not in English).
  • O’Level Certificate or the Equivalent– Minimum 5 credits including Mathematics & English.
  • Valid International Passport Data Page.
  • Recent Passport Photograph.
