KTH Scholarship Program 2027 Details

The KTH Scholarship covers the full tuition fee of a one or two year master’s programme. In 2025, 8 % of the scholarship applicants admitted to a programme were nominated for the KTH Scholarship (65 out of 803).

The selection process for the scholarship focuses on academic excellence and drive to contribute to sustainable development.

KTH Joint Programme Scholarship Requirements

To be considered for the 2027 KTH Joint Programme Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

• Be a be a fee-paying student and have applied for a master’s programme at KTH as your first priority.
• Be pursuing an KTH Scholarship eligible program.
• Pay the required master’s programme application fee.
• Meet the admission requirements for the master’s programme
• Applicants are assessed using several criteria, including:
  • Grades, including GPA or equivalent.
  • The ranking of the university that awarded the applicant’s bachelor’s degree.
  • Extracurricular research experience or publications.
  • Relevant professional experience.
  • Relevant teaching experience.
  • Awards from competitions and extracurricular activities.
  • The applicant’s motivation and plans for contributing to sustainable development through a master’s degree from KTH.

Eligible Programmes for KTH Joint Programme Scholarship

The 2027 Chevening Scholarship is open to candidates pursuing the following programmes;

• Molecular Techniques in Life Science
• Biostatistics and Data Science
• The one-year master’s programme in Architectural Lighting Design.
