King’s Undergraduate Research Fellowships (KURF): Applications for summer 2025 are now open!

The King’s Undergraduate Research Fellowships (KURF) programme offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain research experience by working as paid research fellows on projects led by King’s leading academics and research staff.

The KURF programme 2025 is open to all undergraduate students, including first-year, final-year, and international students.

Kings Undergraduate Research Fellowship 2025 (KURF) Benefits

In addition to research experience, students receive:

  • A bursary payment (£1,500 for full and part-time options; £750 for job-share)
  • A certificate of participation and recognition on the Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR)
  • Evidence of transferable skills, useful for both academic and job applications
