The International Medical University Scholarship is an annual award also regarded as the Malaysian IMU Undergraduate Scholarship.

The Malaysian IMU Undergraduate Scholarship is set to cover the full tuition fee of selected candidates (domestic or international).

International Medical University Scholarship Details

International Medical University offers Scholarships for undergraduate students to pursue degree courses at IMU.

Scholarships will be provided based on excellence in their academic studies. IMU offers 2 types of Scholarships for undergraduate students for the full duration of the program.

Eligible candidates can get complete scholarship details before proceeding with the registration process.

International Medical University Scholarship Requirements

  • An eligible candidate for the Malaysian IMU Undergraduate Scholarship shall meet the following criteria:
  • Candidates from Malaysian and international students are eligible to apply.

Minimum O-Level / SPM grades required are listed below,

  • Candidates are required to achieve As in at least 3 Science subjects (Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry) and English in order to be eligible for the FiS scholarship,
  • Scholarships are only open to all local and international students who have completed either the SPM or O-Level qualification at the immediately preceding year before admission into IMU,
  • The scholarship will only be awarded based on the actual SPM or O-Level results and not on forecast results. Eligible candidates will be required to pay Semester 1 fees to register for the course and qualify for the scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits and Timeline

Scholarships will be provided based on excellence in their academic studies. IMU offers 2 types of Scholarships for Undergraduate students i.e Full Tuition Fee (100%) for the full duration of the program and the second one is Partial Tuition Fee (50%) for the full duration of the program.

The scholarships range from RM 2,000 – to RM 6,000.

Required Documents for Midwestern Oil and Gas JV Scholarship

  • SPM or O-Level results;
  • Laporan Ko-Kurikulum with GPA score or grade (applicable only to Malaysians);
  • A personal statement with at least 100 words.

 

Application Procedure

Candidates need to apply for the scholarships through the online process at https://slim.imu.edu.my. Register all the details without any mistakes. Successful completion of the application process shortlisted candidates will be intimated through e-mail. If you have received a conditional offer, kindly submit your final results to Admissions Department before the closing date to be eligible for the scholarship.
